Dr. Shen has published 198 papers in the Scientific Citation Index (SCI) of International Papers and discovered almost one thousand new compounds, among which the most representative ones are:
Antrodia cinnamomea: Three papers published and discussed 10 new compounds having functions of antitumor cytotoxic and other activities.
Schisandra chinensis: 15 papers, more than 100 new compounds, which have the effects of regulating physiological functions, nourishing and strengthening the body, strengthening physical strength, and energetic.
Taxus chinensis: 30 papers, 90 new compounds, related to antitumor and other activities.
Alcyonacea and Porifera: 64 papers, 300-400 new compounds, which showed antitumor and cytotoxic actvities.
